Why Us
Licensed, Permitted, and on Schedule
In California, remodeling contractors are licensed by the Contractors State License Board (CSLB). Most bathroom work falls under a B-2 Residential Remodeling Contractor license, which covers improvements to existing homes using at least three unrelated trades. That license has limits that matter in a bathroom: a B-2 contractor cannot make structural changes to load-bearing walls or substantially alter major plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems. When a project needs a wall moved or a main line rerouted, it needs a B General Building Contractor license or the right specialty trades, and we tell you which before you sign.
Licensed contractors in this state also carry a $25,000 contractor's license bond. Ask any company you are comparing for its license number and look it up yourself. It takes a minute and it is the best protection you have.

Local Know-How
Bathrooms Across the Santa Clarita Valley
Santa Clarita is really four communities that grew into one city, and the bathrooms show it. Newhall, the city's oldest area, has older homes where opening a wall can reveal galvanized supply lines, tired subfloors, or a tub set before modern waterproofing. In Saugus and Canyon Country, where homes range from pre-1960s builds to 21st-century construction, one street can hold a 1960s ranch and the next a house built in the 2000s, so we never assume what is behind the tile until we look.
Homes in Valencia and out toward Stevenson Ranch are often newer tract houses with builder-grade showers, cultured-marble vanities, and garden tubs that nobody uses. Those projects tend to go faster because the plumbing is newer and the walls are square, but the layout choices still deserve thought.
Whatever the age of the house, the order of work is the same: demolition, plumbing rough-in, electrical rough-in, ventilation, cement board and waterproofing, paint, tile, fixtures, and accessories. Following that order keeps new finishes from being damaged by later trades.

What Your Estimate Covers
Every estimate lists the scope room by room, the fixtures and tile you chose, who handles each trade, whether a permit is needed, and a start-to-finish schedule. If something is uncertain, such as what is behind an old tub, we say so and explain how we will handle it. Payment follows the work, so you are never far ahead of what has been built. When the job is done we walk the room with you, test every fixture, and leave the care instructions for your tile and glass.
Questions
Bathroom Remodeling Questions
How much does remodeling a bathroom cost?
It depends on scope. Keeping fixtures on the existing wet wall keeps plumbing costs predictable; moving a toilet or shower adds cost. Tile choice and fixture grade matter too. Permits through the City of Santa Clarita Permit Center are part of the estimate, and you get a written number after the visit.
How long does remodeling a bathroom take?
A shower or tub swap can take days; a full remodel usually runs a few weeks once materials arrive. Inspections by the City of Santa Clarita Permit Center happen at rough-in, before walls close. You get a written timeline with your estimate.
How do I choose a bathroom remodeling contractor?
Check the license with the Contractors State License Board (CSLB), confirm insurance, ask who pulls the permit, and get a written contract with a timeline and payment schedule. Know that a B-2 contractor cannot make structural changes to load-bearing walls or substantially alter major plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
Is remodeling a bathroom worth it?
Usually, for comfort and daily use. Avoid over-improving for your street: a luxury spa bath in a modest house rarely pays back at sale. We help you match the finish level to the home and the neighborhood.
